Episode 152 Richard Ryder

Listen to an incredible interview with comedian Richard Ryder who was recently on Last Comic Standing. He talks about his tough childhood and what events in his life has made him the person he is today. He talks about his brother and how he is supportive. He talks about his first long term relationship with his partner Gene as well. It is very touching as he talks how his man is so helpful in so many ways and I can certainly can relate with Joe. Be prepared to laugh and enjoy this great man!

Hey Tom, sorry I haven't commented. I've been upgrading my website after the Apple release of iLife 08 on Tuesday. So I'm redoing my whole site. But know what I'm listening. Chow!

Great interview! I've got about 10 mins left I'm going to listen to on Monday at work. They've been blocking a bunch of websites at work, which means a lack of podcasts..but luckily yours started to download at the end of the day. Anyway, very fun to listen to, you interview some cool people!!

I am catching up on my podcasts after having spent all my free listening time with "Deathly Hallows".

A great interview and an interesting guy. Richard has come through so much and for him to be happy and partnered is exactly what everyone could hope for. I wonder how many guys would not have been able to get beyond the kind of emotional abuse he went through in order to get to a better place.

Best wishes to Richard.

I really enjoyed this interview and am looking forward to part 2.

Some highlights:

- The "Sometimes someone will get up, come over and give a kiss, and then just sit down where he was" moments. Mainly because I feel I do that a bunch and know how it feels.

- The "Bear ~ 'let yourself go'" While I don't consider it to be true (I know a lot of bears who work the-hell out and can break me in two that just happen to have guts) it made me laugh!

Hope you are having a good weekend... ooh lord, I have just been road-warrior-ing all over the southeast so I can identify with several of your "and then, I was driving 400 miles in the van again when..." sentiments.

Cheers!
