This was an interesting foil of Rich Merritts interview. It has very much the theme of "challenges being overcome" but the challenges were very different.

Then again, I suppose most interesting stories are those where more and more convoluted and intriguing labyrinths are placed in between the protagonist and what they want...

Either way, It seems like Hector has come out well (as have most if not all of your interviewees, Ramble) and I wish him luck at the games!

Wow! What a swan Hector has become. He is a beautiful, beautiful boy. If I lost all that weight and bulked up, I still wouldn't look like this hottie!

I am always so overwhelmed to hear of the violent reactions of parents to finding out their children are gay. I think it is a mark of Hector's sweetness that he would give so much time to helping his mother recouperate after her initial rejection of him. It would have been interesting to hear if he continues to have a close relationship with her and the rest of his family.
